: My son and I have been getting bites at night. His swell up horribly. Mine itch a little but do not swell. I'm pretty sure they are bedbugs but I haven't yet seen one or caught one!! I find little dark poops (?) on our sheets, looks very much like tiny scabs. They are dry, not stuck to the sheets like described in many bedbug articles. Could this be a symptoms of bedbugs? Its driving me crazy. : I've bought some Drione but I'm a little afraid to use it because I am very sensitive to pesticides. Any of you have bad experiences with Drione? Did it work for you? : Have been keeping them in check by changing the sheets and vacumming more often than I'd like to. Want to get rid of them once and for all, if that's what it is. Any advice is appreciated. : Jeanne : Santa Rosa, CA Hi Jeanne: I would try to get a specimen before you apply the pesticide. Purchase some glue traps and place them under your bedlegs, also move your bed away from the walls. Take your bed apart and look in the cracks, screwholes. Look in the piping of your mattress. If they are not on your bed they maybe climbing on to it from somewhere in your room. Don't forget to throw out your vacuum bag after vacuuming.
