Hi: When I first purchased my new bed I right away put vaseline on the legs of the bed. Did it work? No, not for us. It maybe that I didn't put it on thick enough. You can give it a try but you need to put it on really thick. The vaseline becomes more runny the warmer the room is, so put lots and see if it works. I do know that bedbugs can't climb glass. How I know is that the only 2 bedbugs I've ever seen and caught were put into a mason jar, they remained on the bottom and couldn't climb up the glass.

I just spoke to my in-laws, they got rid of the bedbugs during the war by using DDT and boiling all their clothes.
