: I am one of the victim of bedbug, and through months of fighting. I find the no chemical is effective in term of constrol the bug( not yet try powder). The permethrin is effective and once dry up, it has little effect on them. I see bugs hiking on the residue of these chemical residue occasionally. Others who have had the problem recommended using drione or diatamaceous earth and that is what I am trying now. They at least have some residual action upon the bugs. I figure the spray is not working at this moment. Pythroids only kill them on contact, so emerging bedbugs that hide are not affected by the sprays.
